But is it really the truth? Here are 5 common myths about weigh loss that might actually keep you from shedding pounds.

Diet Myth 1 : Eat Only the Moment You Are Hungry
Facts: According to research, eating food evenly during the day is actually the key to successful weight loss. People who choose to eat good food at a regular interval feel and think better and have fewer mood swings and cravings than those who skip meals. In fact, skipping a meal may cause you to gain weight, because, when you do choose to eat, you will probably have the wrong kind of food in a larger quantity. To keep you fit and to control your weight, you must eat healthy meals every 3 to 4 hours, with small snacks in between. Do not wait until you get very hungry to head for the fridge, because you will not be able to control your hunger and you will make the wrong choices.

Diet Myth 2 : It Is Expensive to Buy and Eat Healthy Food
Facts: If you plan carefully and in advance, eating a healthy diet can help you to cut down your expensive compared to typical convenience food. Although this might surprise you, healthy food is not solely biological food, so, the next time that you go to the supermarket, know their offers and make a list to stick to. Choose vegetables over meats such as lamb, beef, pork, and you can reduce your bills drastically. Also, buy seasonal vegetables and fruits and purchase rice, oatmeal and other whole grains in bulk, to save even more.
